Threads of Freedom
The word Khadi implies that the yarn is spun by hand using Kisan charkha or Amber charkha. The Khadi we offer is produced in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra where cotton is grown organically without the use of pesticide and insecticides.
The weaves are robust and has a beautiful texture and drape. Since the yarns are spun by hand, the fabric retains its slubby nature without losing its softness.
The hand-spinning adds another layer of employment for the women of the region.
